Yard Renovations in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Regrade, replant, and rebuild a tired lot into a yard you'll actually want to spend time in.

Sometimes a yard doesn't need one project — it needs everything, all at once. A bare lot from new construction. An old yard that's been let go for a decade. A property you just bought where the previous owner clearly didn't care. That's where a yard renovation comes in: regrade, retop, replant, redefine.
A full yard renovation is the most personal project we do. We sit with you, walk the property, and figure out what you actually want it to feel like — not just look like. Then we sequence the work: regrading first to get drainage right, then topsoil and seed or sod, then garden beds, mulch, borders, and any hardscape that ties it together. We hand the property back to you ready to enjoy, with care instructions for the first 90 days.
What are your options?
Grading & drainage
Regrade for runoff away from the foundation. Install French drains or dry wells where water pools.
Topsoil & sod
Fresh quality topsoil, crisp-rolled sod, or seeded lawn depending on budget and timeline.
Mulch & garden beds
Defined curved beds, fresh dark mulch, edge-trenched borders. Annuals and perennials per your taste.
Tree & plant installation
Specimen trees, foundation shrubs, ornamental grasses. We source from local nurseries and warranty the work.
What’s it like to work with us?
Yard renovations vary from a 2-day refresh to a 3-week full rebuild. We give you a clear day-by-day timeline before we start and stick to it.
Still have questions?
Do I have to do everything at once?
No. We can phase the work over a season — usually grading first, then beds and mulch, then any hardscape. But there are sequence reasons (e.g., never put down mulch before grading) so let us help plan it.
Sod or seed?
Sod is faster (you have a lawn the day we leave) but more expensive. Seed is cheaper and often holds better long-term, but takes 4-6 weeks of careful watering. We do both — we'll recommend based on your timeline and budget.
How long does fresh mulch last?
It still looks fresh for about 6-9 months. By next spring, most beds need a refresh. We can come back annually for a top-up.
What affects the cost of a yard renovation in South Jersey?
Scope is everything. A mulch-and-edge refresh is one budget; a full regrade with topsoil, sod, drainage, and new beds is another. The biggest cost variables are: how much grading is needed (moving soil is labor-intensive), whether sod or seed is used, the amount of material (topsoil, mulch, stone), and how much hardscape is included. We walk the property, listen to what you want, and put together a phased plan if the full scope is more than you want to do at once.
